You may have been tired of reading tips on how to quit smoking. You had already browsed all suggestion styles and approaches but still none interests you and you think it will not work for you.

So now, we will have a break on long discussions of how to do it and its benefits instead will now look into some amazing and funny ways some smokers had tried in order to kick off the habit. You might call it crazy but it was done in a creative manner and it worked for them. Here are some:

John Mellencamp, A 58-year-old rocker, was challenged by his son Speck to quit smoking. He suggested that he create a FACEBOOK PAGE, if it attracted 1 million people, Mellencamp swore he’d kick the habit once and for all.

Another story is shared by Pat Owens of Valley Stream, New York. He tried to bury the evidence so it will be an extra effort for him to smoke. He said, “I once wrapped packs of cigarettes in a plastic bag and buried them in a flower pot on the back porch so that I would have to dig them up, extract a cigarette, and rebury the pack every time I wanted a smoke. That was 18 years ago!”

Sometimes if a prize is at stake for something, you feel motivated to do it and that’s what moved Eric Katzman of Queens, New York to work hard to quit smoking. He shared, “I quit smoking on a dare in February 2002. My friend bet me I couldn’t quit and—the competitive type I am—I took up his bet. The bet was I had to quit for one month and if I made it, I got steak at [the renowned] Peter Luger Steakhouse in Brooklyn. Funny story is, it took so long to get my dinner—nine months!—that I made him take me for a second dinner at a different steakhouse!”

Who wants to pay a fine, definitely no one does. You can try this deal that was told by Mike P. of Newport, Rhode Islands. “Two of my very good friends agreed to quit smoking or pay the other person $1,000 if they could not. Being honest, competitive, and broke, it worked! Neither one of them has had a cigarette since.”

Chris T. of New York, N.Y., on the other hand, shared how her cousin killed her smoking cravings. “She quit in an interesting way—she started eating Milkbone dog biscuits! She chewed on them to kill the craving and she quit.”

Our next story made a deal with her selg to do replace his smoking spending with something that’s of equal worth. And Liz Rubin of North Potomac, Md. shared, “In exchange for giving up the costly habit of buying a pack of cigarettes each day, I made a deal with myself that I would be free, anytime in my life, to buy a lottery ticket, with no feelings of guilt. I’ve never smoked a cigarette since that night over 25 years ago, and it’s safe to say I never will do so. I would like to say that one of the lottery tickets has won me a million dollars, but that has not happened—at least not yet!”

Take it from the expert and what our next story had tried to follow is a doctor’s advice. Joanne Fanizza of Farmingdale, N.Y. told “I read a newspaper article quoting a doctor who said to quit smoking, mix a tablespoon of baking soda in an 8-ounce glass of water and drink it, twice a day for the first week, then once a day for a second week. I had been smoking a carton a week then, or about 30 cigarettes a day. I drank two glasses on Sunday and Monday. It tasted like a flat Alka-Seltzer. On Sunday and Monday I smoked two cigarettes. On Tuesday I think I smoked one cigarette and then quit altogether. I continued to drink the baking soda concoction for the rest of that week. I don’t think I even needed it the second week. I have not had a cigarette in 20 years.”

After a doctor’s advice, our next story is about an expert herself, who was able to apply her own treatment to in her advantage. According to Sheila Sidney Bender, PhD, Florham Park, N.J., “I am a licensed psychologist in New Jersey. Back in 1976, I already had my doctorate, had some training in hypnosis, and smoked about a pack of cigarettes a day. At a New Year’s Eve party, a friend asked how my hypnosis skills were coming along and if I could stop her from smoking. We spent about an hour with her in a trance. The next week, my friend and I spoke on the phone, and she was smoking. In that moment I realized I had not had one cigarette the entire week. I had hypnotized myself! Once or twice I had the urge, but now I can’t even think of it; I have not had one cigarette in more than 30 years.”

We hate things when it gets dirty and doesn’t interests us anymore and that how the late grandmother of Jessica Ward, Kent, Washington, takes off cigarette smoking. She shared “My late grandmother tossed all her smokes except one single, solitary cigarette, which she tucked up on top of the range hood unit in her kitchen. When it came down to it and she had to have a puff, she’d grab that cigarette, light it up, take one puff, and then extinguish it and put it back. Over time, as things on one’s range hood do, it became greasy, dusty, and foul. That ‘emergency’ puff looked less and less appealing over time, and finally, she tossed it. I never saw her smoke again after that.”

You can try your own creative way to quit smoking and you end up with positive results like they did. There are no standards to follow in smoking cessation. Explore ways that fits you and be amazed until one day, you are totally over smoking.

Nicotine is a powerful addiction and yes, we know it will not be easy and you have to go through physical and psychological withdrawal, but to give you heads up, it can be done and there are successful individuals who are able to do so and you can get inspirations from their success stories and testimonies.

To help you overcome your cravings here are some tips that you can try every time you feel weak and tempted to light up another stick of cigarette.

• Drink a lot of liquids, especially water. Juices and herbal teas can be a good help. Limit intake of liquids that can increase your urge to smoke like coffee, soft drinks and most specially alcohol.

• Change your habits because your smoking tendencies are associated with your everyday routine, so by trying to deviate with your everyday practice you can lessen the opportunities to smoke. For example, try different route to work, have your meal at different area and avoid staying near smoking areas.

• Be on a healthy diet and living. Try low-calorie foods and avoid sugar and fatty food. Regular exercise helps but you have to take note you have to do it in moderation. One good way to try is to join an exercise group provides a healthy activity and a new routine.

• Get more sleep. Try to go to sleep earlier and get more rest.

• When cravings hit, do something else immediately, such as talking to someone, getting busy with a task, or taking deep breaths. Take deep breaths. Distract yourself.

• You should also remind yourself everyday that you are quitting and avoiding places you connect with smoking is another good practice. Involve yourself to activities that will relieve your stress like, listening to relaxing music and watch a funny movie.

• For support, you can always rely on your friends, to gain strength, motivation and encouragement.

1.) More than 1/3 of the world’s male population smokes. That is almost 2 billion people worldwide.

2.) Nations that are growing and developing, smoking is on the rise. The average growth of smokers in these countries is about 3.5%.

3.) About 10 million cigarettes are sold every minute. That equates to about 15 billion in one day.

4.) The highest rate of smoking is in the Asia/Pacific Regions. That is no surprise due to half the world’s population being over there.

5.) Only 3 countries control the tobacco conglomerates, theUnited States,Great Britain, andJapan.

6.) Smoking Cessation is the single largest preventable cause for premature death. It can cause cancer in many regions in the body.

7.) A recent survey shows that 60% of Asian adults did not realize that smoking can lead to lung cancer.

In theUnited Stateswe take if for granted that smoking in general has taken a major decline over the past 30 years, and the numbers are continuing to drop. Sadly, smoking on a global level is still high and it can affect 1/3 of the world’s population.

As countries further develop and become more educated to the dangers of smoking, I am sure that we will see a decline in the number of smokers throughout the world.

A lot of smokers are having difficulty quitting smoking for many reasons. Some of their reason is that it is really hard to remove it from their routine, it’s a relaxant for others and many different reasons. So some people look for product that will lessen the effect of cigarette smoking, there are products that say they remove if not lessen the bad effect of cigarette smoking. While others just rely on the cigarette filters, they say that its objective is to lessen the amount of tar, smoke and other fine particles inhaled during smoking of a cigarette. They say that filters also lessen the severity of the smoke and prevent tobacco flakes out of the smoker’s mouth.

A Hungarian inventor named Boris Aivaz, copyrighted the process of making a cigarette filters from a crepe paper. In 1927 Aivaz together with Bunzl’s filtronic subsidiary produced the first cigarette filter.

Generally speaking filters are specifically designed to suck up vapors and to collect small smoke particles. Filters also keep tobacco from entering a smoker’s mouth and it gives smokers a mouthpiece that will not break as the cigarette is smoke. These are some of the components of filters.

The Plug

Around 95% of cigarette filters are created from cellulose acetate or plastic, and to balance it they add papers and rayon. The cellulose acetate tow fibers when filled together to produce filter it resembles a cotton, but individually they are thinner than sewing thread. Different materials have been used but are then rejected because it cannot produce the same taste acetate produces. Filters have different filtration effectiveness, it is subject to whether the cigarette is light or regular.

The inner paper wrapper or plug wrap and glue

For regular cigarettes the paper used to wrap acetate cellulose plug is unreceptive to air, while it is ventilated and very absorbent in light cigarettes, to allow a lot of air to be in the smoke mix. Polyvinyl acetate emulsion is being used to attach the wrapper to the plug, and to join the wrapper.

The tipping paper or outer paper

Another component of cigarette filters is the tipping paper, they are commonly made to resemble a cork, it conceals the filter plug and joins the filter to the tobacco. Typically tipping paper is made to not stick to the lips of smokers.

These filters cool the smoke, will keep the tobacco out of your mouth and will keep your finger from getting stained. But whatever they say that it reduces the health risk is just being offset by some ingredients added to increase the flavour of the smoke. Additional risk when using cigarette filters is getting particles from the filters into the lungs of the smokers that will cause scar and the chances of emphysema.

There are findings also that people who smoke with cigarette that has filters is more likely to inhale longer and harder. This will cause more contact to the dangerous chemicals in tobacco smoke. If we look at this effect of using filters on cigarettes, it shows that filtered cigarettes are more dangerous than non-filtered cigarettes. In other words, the best thing to do is just quit smoking, there is really no healthiest way to smoke. Cigarette filters will not help you at all in reducing health risk by smoking. Stop cigarette smoking is the more accurate answer if you want to reduce your health risk.

In the last few years, smokers suffered a heavy persecution. No smoking in public places like restaurants, shopping malls, and offices. And some predict that they won’t be able to smoke in their own homes or cars in the future. Those are one of the reasons why Electronic Cigarette Starter Kit came up. It is a great alternative for those smokers who hate waking up in the morning with smoker mouth, hate the cigarette smell all over their clothes and hate the ashes all over their car. But they can’t give up smoking because of the pleasure, satisfaction, and relaxation of a good cigarette can give.

Electronic Cigarette Starter Kit is looks like a cigarette, it tastes like a cigarette, it feels like a cigarette, but it isn’t a cigarette, it contains no tobacco, and the smoke is vapor. Containing state of the art micro-electronic technology this re-chargeable e-cigarette produces a real “smoking” experience without many of the unpleasant side-effects of smoking tobacco. As you inhale, the tip of the cigarette lights up and a tiny battery vaporizes liquid inside the cigarette producing a smoke like vapor. You insert the Nicotine cartridges of your choice (it comes with a set of 5) that will release nicotine – or if you choose to skip the nicotine altogether, try the 0mg (None) Nicotine cartridges or you can choose from High Nicotine (16mg), Medium Nicotine (11mg) or Low Nicotine (6mg). Each cartridge is the equivalent of 20 cigarettes.

Of course some people may come up to you telling you to put your Electronic Cigarette Starter Kit out (it looks that real), but there’s no second-hand smoke to worry about. It’s NOT a real cigarette; there is NO real smoke, flame, tar or tobacco.

The cigarette comes in two parts, the longest part contains micro electronic technology and a rechargeable battery and the shorter part is the flavored cartridge It also comes with 2 batteries and a home electric charger, and since there is no flame or real tobacco, and no known carcinogenic ingredients. We believe that it can be use in most places where traditional smoking is banned.

This e-cigarette is tar-free, unlike traditional cigarettes, and may save smokers a fortune in the long run.
Whenever you light a match, exhale when smoking, or let your cigarette burn away in an ashtray, chemicals release into the atmosphere. You won’t have to suffer through the scathing looks from concerned environmentalists if you smoke E cigs. (Electronic Cigarette Starter Kit). It is 100% environmentally friendly. This is great news for smokers and for tree huggers everywhere! No more toxic secondhand smoke… no more cigarette butts everywhere… no more embarrassing smells on your clothes or in your car… and no more negative effects for the environment!

Because of electronic cigarette starter kit you can now enjoy smokeless cigarettes anywhere… anytime… without any nasty smells or ashes! You can also save a small fortune since you won’t have to stop by the store for a new pack of cigarettes every day. Just think of what you could do with all that extra money!

Every passive smoker is at risk with exposure to environmental tobacco smoke. Unfortunately it is not just adults who are at risk to the adverse effects of passive smoking. Passive smoking children and newborn babies are particularly at risk too. ETS causes the maximum damage to fetuses, infants, and small children by damaging their developing organs.

You may have heard that pregnant or expectant mothers are advised to quit smoking as it causes harm to the fetus. Young children and toddlers are especially sensitive to the effects of secondhand smoke, due to the fact that their bodies are still growing and developing and they breathe faster then adults and therefore may inhale more smoke. Passive smoking children are a lethal combination. Children are affected the maximum due to second hand smoke, especially when it happens at home.

All the organs of a child are in the development stage, and breathing second hand smoke can mainly impair the proper development of their lungs and brain. Children exposed constantly to second hand smoke tend to develop childhood asthma which could get worse with further exposure. Sinusitis, cystic fibrosis, and chronic respiratory diseases get worse when a suffering child is forced into passive smoking. Other diseases that are caused due to passive smoking and can be very difficult for small children to cope with are bronchitis and pneumonia.

Research has shown that passive smoking children, who grow up in a smoky household, where one or both parents smoke, have twice the amount of respiratory and lung disorders, and in some cases they even have to be hospitalized. These children are usually absent from school more often than children who grow up in a smoke-free home and some studies have even suggested that children who are exposed to passive smoking are more likely to have behavioral problems and that they may not develop mentally as quickly as other child.

The risk of passive smoking children can cause low birth weight for gestational age, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) – children whose mothers during pregnancy have an increased risk of SIDS. The EPA estimates that passive smoking is responsible for between 150,000 and 300,000 of these infections in children under 18 months annually.

Asthma- According to the EPA, between 200,000 and 1,000,000 kids with asthma have their condition worsened by secondhand smoke every year. Also, passive smoking children may also be responsible for thousands of new cases of asthma every year. Asthma is a severe breathing disorder that is caused by the lungs not working to their full potential. When a person suffers an asthma attack they can experience shortness of breath, coughing, pressure or tightness in their chest, or wheezing and in children these symptoms can be much worse. Children with asthma also suffer more frequent attacks if they are exposed to tobacco smoke in the home.

As we have seen the numerous passive smoking effects, one should be equally careful about it, the same way as one is aware of cigarette smoking. Smoking is banned in most of the parts of the world. In other parts, it is banned in enclosed places like restaurants, theaters, or other public places, in order to avoid the risks of passive smoking.

On the other hand, smokers can help a lot for the prevention of passive smoking children. Smokers should never smoke at home or in cars. This should be strictly followed especially if there are children at home. Although, it is always better to stop smoking, but if smokers cannot overcome smoking, they should do it outdoors, in open places. This way, the risk of passive smoking can be greatly reduced.

What is Passive Smoking and what are passive smoking side effects? It is the involuntary inhalation of the smoke from cigarettes or tobacco that is being smoked by others. This smoke is known as secondhand smoke (SHS). Passive smoking, also known as involuntary smoking occurs when cigarette smoke spreads in the air and is inhaled by people who are present in the same environment. All over the world, it has been found that passive smoking is as injurious to health as the actual smoking itself.

Most of the times, passive smokers are the ones who live with smokers, and hence, are regularly exposed to tobacco smoke. On the other hand, a non-smoker can also get exposed to tobacco smoke while working in a smoky atmosphere or simply by being in a smoke-filled restaurant or bar. In either of the cases, non-smokers have high chances of passive smoking side effects which are hazardous to their health.

Worldwide research institutes have established the facts of passive smoking side effects, short term and long term effects of environmental tobacco smoke.

Passive smoking side effects, Short Term Effects: It depends upon the susceptibility of a person to nicotine. Some can stay in a room with smokers for quite a long time apparently without being effected. Others may feel ill within a few minutes or an hour of exposure to environmental smoke. Asthma patients may experience attacks due to ETS exposure. Allergy patients experience all types of allergic symptoms like stuffy nose, watery eyes, runny nose, sneezing, wheezing etc., Coughing, Headache, Nausea, Lethargy, and People who are trying to quit feel cravings for a smoke.

Passive smoking side effects, Long Term Effects: There are quite a number of dangerous long term effects of environmental smoke depending upon the frequency of exposure to involuntary smoking. The likelihood of below mentioned diseases are increased by frequent exposure to passive smoking. Passive smoking side effects are risk of lung cancer, heart disease, and birth defects. Risk of developing asthma in children and adults. And risk of lung infection.

Pregnant women who smoke are advised to quit. Smoking causes them much less harm than is caused to the developing fetus. Birth defects such as cleft lip and palate combined with a low birth weight have been noticed in cases of mothers smoking. With the mother continuing smoking even after giving birth, the production of milk is reduced. The chances of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) too increases due to maternal smoking.

As we have seen the numerous passive smoking effects, to prevent this, one should be equally careful about it, the sane way as one is aware of cigarette smoking. Smoking is banned in most of the parts of the world. In other parts, it is banned in enclosed places like restaurants, theaters, or other public places, in order to avoid the risks of passive smoking.

On the other hand, smokers can help a lot for the prevention of passive smoking. Smokers should never smoke at home or in cars. This should be strictly followed especially if there are children at home. Although, it is always better to stop smoking, but if smokers cannot overcome smoking, they should do it outdoors, in open places. This way, the risk of passive smoking can be greatly reduced.

When a cigarette is smoked, about half of the smoke is inhaled / exhaled (mainstream smoke) by the smoker and the other half floats around in the air (side stream smoke). The combination of mainstream and sides stream smoke makes up environmental tobacco smoke (ETS). Also known as secondhand smoke, ETS plays a part in more health problems than you might realize.

The following second hand smoking facts point out why it is so important to have smoking bans in place. Secondhand smoke is a toxic cocktail consisting of poisons and carcinogens. There are over 4000 chemical compounds in secondhand smoke; 200 of which are known to be poisonous, and upwards of 60 have been identified as carcinogens.
Second hand smoking facts is serious business, and should be a concern for anyone who breathes it in. Non-smokers inhaling secondhand smoke share some of the health risks smokers’ face. But smokers do face the worst of it – the risks of smoking are compounded by breathing cigarette smoke in for a second time.

Don’t underestimate the dangers of ETS. While secondhand smoke may not kill as many people as smoking does, it is toxic and claims thousands of lives every year around the world.

Here Are Some Second Hand Smoking Facts

Fact 1

Second-hand smoke is the smoke that fills restaurants, offices or other enclosed spaces when people burn tobacco products such as cigarettes, bidis and water pipes. Everyone is exposed to its harmful effects.

Fact 2

Guidelines to Article 8 of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control state that there is “no safe level of exposure to tobacco smoke”. Creating 100% smoke-free environments is the only way to protect people from the harmful effects of second-hand tobacco smoke.

Fact 3

Another second hand smoking facts is that second-hand smoke causes 600 000 premature deaths per year. There are more than 4000 chemicals in tobacco smoke, of which at least 250 are known to be harmful and more than 50 are known to cause cancer.

Fact 4

In adults, second-hand smoke causes serious cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, including coronary heart disease and lung cancer. In infants, it causes sudden death. In pregnant women, it causes low birth weight.

Fact 5

Separate or ventilated smoking areas do not protect non-smokers from second-hand smoke. Second-hand smoke can spread from a smoking area to a non-smoking area, even if the doors between the two areas are closed and even if ventilation is provided. Only 100% smoke-free environments provide effective protection that’s another second hand smoking facts.

Fact 6

About 40% of all children are regularly exposed to second-hand smoke at home. Thirty-one per cent of the deaths attributable to second-hand smoke occur in children.

Fact 7

Youths exposed to second-hand smoke at home are one-and-a-half to two times more likely to start smoking than those not exposed.

Fact 8

The last second hand smoking facts is that ten per cent of the economic costs related to tobacco use are attributable to second-hand smoke. Tobacco use imposes both direct economic costs on society, such as those associated with treating tobacco-related diseases and indirect costs, such as those associated with reduced productivity or lost wages because of death or illness.

Fact 9

More than 94% of people are unprotected by smoke-free laws. However, in 2008 the number of people protected from second-hand smoke by such laws increased by 74% to 362 million from 208 million in 2007. Of the 100 most populous cities, 22 are smoke-free.

Fact 10

Through the tobacco control package called MPOWER, WHO helps countries to implement the provisions of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control to protect people from second-hand smoke.

Some person’s who smoke would like to stop smoking, but it is it too hard or too much of a sacrifice to stop smoking using willpower alone. That’s why they need help of some professionals or what they call stop smoking clinics.

To try to stop smoking or chewing tobacco people have used services of Stop Smoking Clinics. Experienced professionals use counseling and medications to help people address their dependence on nicotine. Stop Smoking Clinics provide the best-quality, evidence-based care for tobacco dependence — non-judgmentally and supportively. Whether someone is ready to quit or not, professionals work with people to develop a plan that will give the best chance of success when they are ready.

Fear, is the number one problem of those people who still continue smoking even though they wanted to quit, they are fear that they won’t cope with the stress and strains of life, fear that they won’t be able to enjoy their self, fear that they will put on weight or get irritable, fear that they will never be free of the cravings and desires and mostly the fear that it is going to be too painful or difficult. So that’s where stop smoking clinics comes in.

To take off that fear, some professionals use hypnosis. Well, the beauty of hypnosis is that it removes this fear, and with it any feeling of deprivation, so it removes the desire to smoke. One of the reasons why it’s neither painful, nor difficult, to stop smoking with this method is that it transfer the pleasure derived from smoking, to a healthier habit of your choice, like exercise, drinking more water, deep breathing or relaxation.

But, the Stop Smoking Clinics stresses strong, personal motivation to quit and uses research-validated, stop-smoking methods.
Finding the best method to assist a person with smoking cessation is sometimes difficult. Some professionals on Stop Smoking Clinics offer the following nine options for quitting smoking.

1. Cold Turkey
2. Chantix (varenicline)
3. Nicotine Fading
4. Nicotine Gum
5. Nicotine Skin Patch
6. Nicotine Lozenge
7. Nicotine Nasal Spray
8. Nicotine Inhaler
9. Zyban (Bupropion HCI)

Using a medication generally doubles a person’s chance of quitting. A proven relationship exists between the amount of intervention and intensity of treatment, and the success of an individual in quitting tobacco use. Nicotine dependence programs are supervised by a physician so that all aspects of the patient’s condition are considered in the treatment process.

Stop Smoking Clinics are having a good success in helping people to stop smoking. Your doctor may refer you to one if you are having a hard time stopping smoking but are finding it difficult to do so.

All of these options are most successful when combined with modification of behaviors that were previously associated with smoking. The Stop Smoking Clinic offers assistance with behavioral modification as well as stress management, weight control, and tips for preventing relapse.

Now a day, teens seem to be more abrasive when smoking or they feel like they are older and wiser when they smoke. Teens like to act as if they are someone special or dangerous. In teenage smoking they can act on those feelings. Because it is so forbidden it becomes more alluring to teens. They tried their first cigarette in sixth or seventh grade. The problem is that when they take that first puff, they can become addicted.

Kids like to get attention; it does not matter if it’s good attention or bad attention. If they were experiencing problem with their family, schools or love life, they would think something that they will catch the attention of everyone. Here are some bad effects of teenage smoking; they often do not perform well in school. They feel like they are not a part of the school and become isolated from other students.

They feel like they have little hope of going to college and feel like they need a job to support their smoking habit. They are reported to school officials for skipping classes. They start using other illegal substances. They begin experimenting with alcohol and other drugs. They experience pressure from home and school and use tobacco as a form of relief.

Teenage smoking enjoys trying to hide their smoking. These types of behaviors get attention because the initiation of smoking is influenced by having a friend, particularly a best friend, who smokes. The risk factors do not apply because those who are young think that they are indispensable.

Sometimes they want rebellion and the idea that they are breaking the law or going against their parents and schools is an addiction within itself.

But most teens are not aware of the effect of smoking cigarette. If you start smoking on your teens, be ready to stain your teeth, get wrinkles on your skin and of course die early. During teenage smoking, they think that smoking their first fag will already make them a smoker, but most of them will just say that they are experimenting. What they don’t know is that it’s easy to get hooked. Most smokers start at a young age, specifically in their teens, and 50% of them will die because of their habit – spluttering, having heart seizures and coughing.

Still smoking at Age 30? Shame. Because you’re a smoker you already look like 40 yrs old. Gray and lined skin will be visible because of the lack of oxygen. A dull and smelly hair with stained teeth awaits you. Wait there’s more, cellulite will be found in your body because of the smoke toxins. If you want to have kids, it will be hard for you to conceive compared to non-smokers: it will reduce female’s fertility and increase the cervical cancer, chances of miscarriage and complications during pregnancy and delivery.
